Nga and Eliott’s Wedding

Hannah and Tom’s Wedding

Hi Everyone,

Here some highlights of Hannah and Tom’s beautiful wedding.

The ceremony took place at one of my favourite churches in Wellington, The Sacred Heart Cathedral.

The reception and photo shoot took place at the picturesque setting of Ohariu Farm. This venue does not only shine with its rolling hills and amazing evening sun but also offers an increasingly beautiful reception venue. Thanks for having us Jude!

Hannah and Tom have been together for around 10 years already and have now tied the knot to celebrate their love for each other with their closest family and friends. It was a magical day for everyone!

To the topic bridesmaids, I have to say Hannah had the sweetest and most helpful bunch. We were joking on the day how she must have had the criteria of “You’ve got to be blonde and look like you could be my sister!” when she made her choice in that. These girls were just great together which is something I wanted to capture for them..

Enjoy their wedding day stills:

Hayley and Stuart’s Wedding

Hello Everyone,

Today I’d like to share Hayley and Stuart’s wedding day with you. We were really lucky and had some fantastic weather which is wonderful when you plan an outdoor ceremony at Ohariu Farm!
If you are watching TV here and there watch out for Ohariu Farm latest TV advert which features Hayley and Stuarts wedding and some of these shots. Star spotting indeed!

But let’s start from the first minute I spent with them in Hayley’s beautiful tranquille family home in Whitby. Her parents place is gorgeously overlooking the Whitby estuary and simply bathed in sun.

Hayley and Stu’s colour scheme was yellow….such a great choice but yet so rare.

Nivea and Troy’s Wedding Day

Hello Everyone

Today I’d like to share Nivea and Troy’s day with you. They celebrated the wedding a few weeks ago. It was an amazing warm sunny day, just perfect for the two of them and their big wedding. Everything was buzzing and whereever I looked where things happening.

Nivea got ready with her five bridesmaids and her flower girls in the Kingsgate Hotel which is nice and close to their church The Old St Paul’s cathedral. I think we literally took up one entire floor of the hotel as there were just so many of us…it was lots of fun and added to the excitement and buzz..

Let’s show you some of the shots I took during the getting ready..

Nivea is one of those super women…gorgeous and smart. She wore this really nice silk dress during the getting ready which suited her so well…here some glimpses of her beauty.

Jen and Stephen – In their footsteps

Jenny and Stephen’s wedding was full of colour..and not just brought in by their gorgeous purple colour scheme that was carefully placed into different parts of their day but also due to their very international union. Jenny is a Kiwi-Canadian. She was lucky to have grown up on both parts of the world to be able to appreciate their differences and probably also their similarity. A few years ago she decided that Wellington was her home of choice which is so special. Around that time she also met her love Stephen who was also a kiwi by choice. Stephen being a british arrived in New Zealand some years ago. He started of in Auckland and thought: “This isn’t it!” so further he went to Queenstown and thought: ” This is great!”…some time later he decided to give Wellington and try and thought: “This is windy!…but me!”  Luckily they met each other to share their love for each other and our wee town together.

The wedding was just magical with so many fantastic moments. They married at one of Wellington’s most beautiful churches in Wellington the “Sacred Heart Cathedral”.  The most amazing detail of this was that her grandma married her grandfather in the same church on the same day 60 years ago. To add some more goosebumps Jenny was also born on the same date as her grandma! As Jenny comes from a great gene pool her grandma is still alive and very chipper with her 90+ years of age. She was one of the most special guests at the wedding and such a delight to be around.

But lets start at the beginning in the Museum Hotel where Jenny and her lovely matron of honour Tracy and bridesmaid and sister Kristen got ready..

I will start quite bold with a series of close-up shots I took of Jenny after her Make-up and her was finished. It was quite a giggly moment between us as I went really really close to her face whilst her bridesmaids were busy putting her dress on. It was such a funny and quirky outside-the-box moment I’m kind of known for….and so is the result…just beautiful isn’t she?

Jaye & Steve – Rays of Gold at Ohariu Farm

Looking at the thermometer now makes me doubt that Jaye and Steve’s wedding was only a few days ago. It was a hot and super sunny summer’s day. Whenever it seemed too hot there was this nice breeze passing that just refreshed you just the right way. Both of them were so looking forward to their big day for such a long time that it was a blessing to have observed that everything was just perfect for them.

They celebrated at Ohariu Farm which is one of the best outdoor venues for great summer days like this. I was able to capture the most amazing rich golden images of them and their bridal party, so read on to see their day.

The first image is a great way to start with. Their rings..
