Marisa and John’s Wedding

Hi There

Marisa and John’s wedding was a few weeks ago. I joined them just before the ceremony at The Boatshed and it was great to see the mingling of cultures…The Cook Islanders where present and reflected Marisa’s side of the family and the Irish flew in for John’s. So really nice to hear the different accents. Combined with my Giwi-accent (aka German Kiwi) we had a lot of fun trying to understand each other…haha.

Everything was buzzing and full of life giving me loads of candid moments to capture….so let’s take a look and get a feel for their day..

The littlies arrived and hit it off with this cute-as giggling session..

Interestingly enough I also found the time to photograph birds (outside of the wedding love birds ;-) I had a few moments in between so kept my eyes open and connected with those seagulls..

Claire and Mark’s Wedding at Tarureka Estate

Hi All

What a fantastic wedding season this year. Today I want to show you how Claire and Mark spent their St Patrick’s Day this year….they tied the knot at Tarureka Estate in Featherston.

Everything about this gorgeous wedding was about the detail. There was not one stone unturned and no thought and wish unfulfilled in my opinion. It took two of us to capture the depth of this wedding to it’s fullest… From custom bridesmaids bags to stunning scrapbooking and handmade doors signs. Claire and Mark together with their family and friends had a fantastic and unforgettable time creating this weekend of a lifetime to celebrate the love for each other.

With these words in mind, let’s look at some beautiful proofs..

Kellie and Phil’s Wedding

Hello Everyone,

Time to show how I spent my days lately! Remember this wild weather Saturday a few weeks ago? I do and Kellie and Phil do even more as it was their wedding day. And it was FANTASTIC. I actually think the weather made it even more cozy, cuddly and passionate…but more to that as I tell you their story..

Their wedding was at the very picturesque Pauatahanui church St Alban’s followed by a photo shoot around the greatest spots of Whitby and finished off by a beautiful sing-a-song reception at the Paremata Boating Club

So let’s start with the Getting Ready…here her gorgeous shoes which she loved so much she wore them even when she had her make-up and hair done!

I just thought to share these beautiful family photo session with you. It was one of those fantasticly calm and warm Wellington days when we had this shoot at Otari Wilton’s Reserve. It was a lot of fun for the kids to explore the reserve and be photographed at the same time. Pauline and Carey’s Wedding

Hi Everyone

I’m very excited to show you the images of Pauline and Carey’s wedding as I have been looking forward to their big day for quite a few years…having photographed Pauline on a number of occasions like two bodypainted pregnancies and family celebrations her big day has finally arrived.

This blog will also get a lot of attention for its wedding cake. The reason is that Pauline has won New Zealand Pastry Chef of the Nation in previous years which means that she is an absolute superstar when it comes to patisserie!

Her wedding cake was extremely impressive, royal and very elegant as she kept it very minimalistic in the colour scheme and decided to use a technique called Royal Icing. Tres chique!

So let’s get started to show you their day. The cake images are at the bottom so enjoy your journey there!!

This first image is special as it shows a photograph of Pauline from way back in the 80′s! This image inspired her for the style of hair-do she is wanting for her big day. The amazing iconic Dany Pike did Pauline’s Make-up and Hair and transformed her back into time really. She looked amazing as you will see shortly..

Hi there

I have been neglecting the blog a little over the last few weeks so that I thought to try and be better during this last big week before the big holidays start.

I just wanted to quickly show you a few images of Lucy who is a young cellist. It was very special having her play in our studio as the sounds made our former church come alive..the high studs really help.

I told her she can come by any time to play for us and our clients…there is hoping we may get lucky again!

Nivea and Troy’s Wedding Day

Hello Everyone

Today I’d like to share Nivea and Troy’s day with you. They celebrated the wedding a few weeks ago. It was an amazing warm sunny day, just perfect for the two of them and their big wedding. Everything was buzzing and whereever I looked where things happening.

Nivea got ready with her five bridesmaids and her flower girls in the Kingsgate Hotel which is nice and close to their church The Old St Paul’s cathedral. I think we literally took up one entire floor of the hotel as there were just so many of us…it was lots of fun and added to the excitement and buzz..

Let’s show you some of the shots I took during the getting ready..

Nivea is one of those super women…gorgeous and smart. She wore this really nice silk dress during the getting ready which suited her so well…here some glimpses of her beauty.
