Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Who This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to all four practice websites operated by Sabrina Limited — Sabrina.co.nz, TheRelationshipRoom.nz, TheCounsellingRoom.nz, and TheMediationRoom.nz.
Part 1 — Shared Policy
Who I Am
I am Sabrina Barbara Grabow, practising under Sabrina Limited — a counsellor, accredited mediator, and relationship therapist practising in Wellington and Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. For any privacy-related enquiry: info@sabrina.co.nz.
What I Collect
I collect only the information you choose to provide when contacting me. This may include your name and contact details, information you share in an enquiry form about your situation, and technical information automatically collected by Framer such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
Why I Collect It
Information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange an initial Zoom call, determine whether I am the right practitioner to assist you, and maintain basic contact records in connection with any engagement that follows.
Legal Basis
I collect and process personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. The legal basis for processing is your consent, provided when you voluntarily submit an enquiry form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@sabrina.co.nz.
Storage & Retention
Enquiry form submissions are sent to info@sabrina.co.nz and held in my password-protected email account, accessed only by me. I do not use a third-party CRM. Where no engagement follows, information is deleted within 12 months. Where an engagement follows, information is retained for the duration required by my professional body obligations — typically 7 years from the end of engagement.
Who I Share With
I do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information to any third party, except where required by law or court order, where mandatory reporting obligations apply, or to my professional supervisor — who is bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations — where necessary for safe and ethical practice.
Third-Party Platforms
My websites are built and hosted on Framer. Framer may collect technical data as part of its hosting functions — see framer.com/privacy. My websites do not use advertising trackers, remarketing pixels, or third-party analytics. No advertiser has access to data collected through my websites.
Your Rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request access to personal information I hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent at any time, and make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at Sabrina.co.nz. Continued use of any of my websites following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Part 2 — The Relationship Room
Health Information
Information you share about your relationship, mental health, or family circumstances may constitute health information under the Health Information Privacy Code 2020. It is not disclosed to any third party, including your partner, without your explicit consent — except where required by law.
Couples Work
Where both partners submit separate enquiry forms or attend individual sessions, information shared by each party individually is held confidentially from the other. I will not share one partner's disclosures with the other without express consent.
Session Recording
Sessions may be recorded for clinical supervision purposes. Written consent is obtained from both partners before the first session. Either partner may withdraw consent at any time.
Mandatory Reporting
I am obliged to breach confidentiality where there is a serious and credible risk of harm to you or another person, or where legally required. I will, wherever possible, discuss this with you before taking any action.
Professional Oversight
This practice operates in accordance with NZAC ethical guidelines. ICEEFT Life Membership standards apply to EFT-informed work.
Part 3 — The Counselling Room
Health Information
All information shared in counselling is health information under the Health Information Privacy Code 2020. Clinical notes are held securely, accessed only by me, and disclosed to no third party without your consent — except where required by law.
Working With Children
Information about a child shared in the course of counselling is treated with the same confidentiality as adult client information, with age-appropriate consideration of the child's right to privacy from their parents where clinically appropriate.
Session Recording
Sessions are recorded for clinical supervision purposes. Written consent is obtained before the first session. For child and youth clients, the child's assent is also sought directly. Either party may withdraw consent at any time.
Mandatory Reporting
I hold mandatory reporting obligations under New Zealand law, including obligations relating to child protection. Where I have reasonable grounds to believe a child is at risk of harm, I am required to take appropriate action. I will, wherever possible, discuss this before acting.
Supervision
I receive regular clinical supervision as required by NZAC. My supervisor may hear de-identified information about client work. They are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
Part 4 — The Mediation Room
Without Prejudice
All mediation sessions and related communications are conducted on a without-prejudice basis. Nothing said or disclosed in the mediation process may be used as evidence in any legal proceeding without the written consent of all parties.
Mediation Confidentiality
Information shared in mediation is confidential to the parties and to me. I will not disclose session content, any party's position, or any outcome to any third party without the written consent of all parties.
Pre-Mediation Sessions
Information shared by a party in their individual pre-mediation session is confidential to that party and to me. I will not disclose it to the other party without express consent.
Voice of Child
I will discuss with the child what they would like shared with their parents and will honour that agreement unless there is a serious and credible risk of harm. The summary provided to parents reflects what the child agreed to share.
Professional Oversight
This practice operates in accordance with the NMAS Code of Conduct and Resolution Institute ethical standards. I maintain professional indemnity insurance appropriate to my mediation practice.
Part 5 — Sabrina.co.nz
Routing Enquiries
Where an enquiry submitted through Sabrina.co.nz concerns a specific practice area, it will be handled under the privacy terms applicable to that practice area as set out above. Enquiry content is not shared across practice areas without consent.
No Services Directly
Services are not provided directly through Sabrina.co.nz. All professional engagements are established through the relevant practice site.
